Margen Icon - Secondary Design

This is intended for use as a standalone design on a t-shirt. I thought adding the names would make things a bit more interesting. I'm interested to see how well everyone else thinks it works. Would you wear this?

T - Shirts

Yep, I'm working on a new line of illustrations to put on t-shirts, so you too can wear my fabulous art. It will be in a very flattened, monochrome style, just like the six little squares I did for the last design. Except in these ones, I'll have one design for each character, and it will be a full-body image. Of course, I'm going to need a lot more than three colors, but hopefully I can pull off the same feel.

Each character will be in some pose with text that is in and around the image. The text will be a quote-like phrase or sentence that reveals something about the character's personality. I guess the real difficulty will be deciding which one to wear first... But I'm still on thumbnails, so don't get too excited yet. Hopefully I can get a bunch of them made and sell them around a bit!

Avelyn Annika - The Portrait

I'm writing this post for two purposes: My return to this blog, and this character's update.

Firstly, I'm going to try and blog again. I need to get this act together once and for all, and I think I'll start with the skewed portraits I did a bit ago. Secondly, this character. Some people know her as Nikola Fafnir. Well, she's getting a name change, and from here on out she will be known as Avelyn Annika. I have replaced the name in all my written stories, and I'll be editing any dA uploads I'm keeping with her name in it. (Oh yeah, I'm cleaning up dA as well.)
